The Wilson Rams 1979 season was a real
crowd pleaser that drew quite a few en
          thusiastic spectators.
The highlights of the season were the
Rams’ 20-0 Homecoming victory and their
trouncing of Delhaas on Senior Day, causing
the Alumni Trophy to be returned to Wilson.
The Rams had a 6-4-0 season, outscoring
their opponents 176-129, with four games
lost in the final minute of play.
                With Brian Goodrow and Bernard
Hedgepeth as captains, the team led the
Lower Bucks Co. League in defensive
          statistics.
                The Wilson Touchdown Club honored
the players and the coaches at its annual
          banquet.
