September 7th marked the
opening day of the 1979-80 school
year. Students reunite with old
friends, as the freshmen make new
friends. The scene is a bit chaotic, as
the freshmen search for their classes
and the seniors run to Guidance to get
their schedules changed. Each class
brings a new face. A teacher seems a
bit frightening, but after a while, frien­
dly. As the day progresses and the ap­
prehension passes, the first day of the
school year is over.
