Thanx a million, billion ... to Mrs. Patrick.
Mr. Horne, Mr. Harwood (my teacher in SA
from Providence) for making it possible for
me to be here at Moses Brown. “This means
a lot to me and my people. I can’t thank you
                                                           enough!”

To my host family, the Butlers- “Thank you
for everything you’ve done for me since Day
                                            1. 1 will never forget you. ‘You’re simply the Nokuthula Portia Madi
                                                            best!”’

Special thanks to teachers of all my courses,
Mrs. Copans, Ms. Case, Mr. Gross, Mr. Lee,
my advisor Ms. German and Mrs. Gilbert in
                                              College Counseling. “Thanx for being
                                                    supportive and helpful.”
And how can 1 forget the people who
brought me to this earth, my parents:
“Thanks mama and baba for being the best
parents a daughter could have. Of course I
wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you.”

To Skhumbuzo and Thabo- “You are the
best brothers in the whole wide world. I love
                                                             you.”

Also thanx to the MacLeods in the R.C..
“Thanks for all your help.” and to all the

Ned- What can I possibly to say to someone who has been through every high and low of
my life? Next year will be the first year we will not be able to compare our schedules to
see what teachers are going to have to put up with us (Dr. Kyle). It is going to be strange,
but we will always be a phone call away. If I started to list all of the bizzare, strange and
fun things we did, I would run out of room. However, I think one word sums up our
experiences. Tattoo. People are lucky just to meet you, so I don’t know what that makes
me, as I know almost as well as your family. You have a gift that others envy; continue to
use it and you will always be successful. Thanks for everything- “D”.

for a better core of friends. We had a lot of fun in our high school career. Good luck to
                                                      you all.
Mom, John and John- It is nice to be close again, I love you all.
Dad, Mary, Bradley and Rebecca- It has been far from easy, but everything happens for
                                                   the best. I love you.
The Wheeler Family- Thanks for always setting a place for me at dinner. You made me
                                                    feel like family.
