Change is inevitable urith the passage of time. Allen­
town College, a small but growing institution, has
changed considerately over its twentg-four gears. The
school has experienced increasing enrollment, more
varied students, the addition of buildings, and more
recognition as an institution.
Individuals passing through the college have ex­
perienced some of this growth. The graduating class of
1989 has witnessed much over the past four years, fl
new library was built, new student organizations were
formed, a new set of Heights was added, and new stu­
dent life regulations went into effect.
Mirroring this change and growth, the theme of the
1989 L’Histoirz is “ Changing Direction.” The theme
also reflects noticable changings in the yearbook
itself, fl glance at this page shows that numerous sec­
tions have either been removed, combined, or added.
U/e hope that these changes will be well received and
that you will be able to see and appreciate the time and
dedication which have gone into making the 1989
