This February twenty students and two teacher
chaperones, Mine. Gupta and Mr. Murphy, traveled the nine-
hour bus ride to Quebec for four days of Canadian culture.
From snow tubing for hours, to dog sledding, to eating
French Trip-Quehec Quebecoise food at La Cabanc a Sucre, the group had a great
time learning about Canadian food, activities, and
language. The group visited the ice hotel, Le Chateau
Frontenac, and ice festival during the days and each student
stayed with Canadian families at night. They braved a
several hour walking tour of the city, but were sure to
warm up with numerous hot chocolate breaks. All in all,
the trip was a success as everyone came back speaking
better French and knowing more about Canada.
