Many athletes were told when they were young that they couldn't win all
the time. Most hoped they would never have to deal with it, but losing is one
of life's lessons that every athlete must learn. No matter if one loses or wins,
lessons are learned. At regionals, the ladies soccer team had to learn one of
the harder lessons. After losing on the first day of the tournament, spirits were
down. Shocked and sad were two words that came to everyone's mind.
Losses are not just hard for the players. Coaches also feel the disap
pointment. All the hours of hard work the coaches put into practice creates a

special bond between them and their players. When the team loses, the loss is
