This year's varsity has to be commended for overcoming
many obstacles. From the season's beginning, they were
plagued by: injuries, the pressure of last year's varsity
achievements, inexperience, and the shaken confidence
of losing 2 of the first 3 gam es. Then determination and
hard work began to pay off, as they won the next 12 games
and finished with a fine season record of 15-3. Coach
