The trip was a whirlwind. We left on Friday evening and returned
on Tuesday evening. In between those times, we cleared out over a
dozen fallen trees, some of them as much as 7 or 8 feet in diameter.
We had opportunities to provide helping hands to older folks who
could not do the physical work themselves, as well
“The Lord did not as a couple of younger families with so much clear
open a lot of op ing to do that they had spent the whole month work
portunities to ‘wit ing and had not made a dent in the work! We also
ness’ of Christ, but had the privilege to help a local church. One of
there were many the greatest benefits, however, was drawing to
opportunities to gether as a team. The Lord did not open a lot of

I highly recommend that any student, faculty, or
staff seize the chance to take time from his schedule to serve the
Lord by serving others. It will be a tremendous blessing not only to
you, but also to those whom you are serving.
