'I'lic Delhaas Joint School Board is
constantly looking for ways in
which to improve our schools. The
Board helps to solve problems
which arise pertaining to educating
the youth of our community. The
preparation of the yearly budget,
and the appointment of teachers
and non-professional employees are
two of their main responsibilities.
Members are elected by the voters
of Bristol Township and Tullytown
Borough.
The Delhaas Joint School Board meets to discuss an important problem. From

The School Authority is of the ut
most importance to our school dis
trict, for it carefully arranges the
financing of school buildings,
ground, and equipment. This vital
organization consists of five mem
bers who are appointed by the Del
haas Joint School Board, one being
appointed every year for a term of
five years.
Finances for the new Franklin Delano Roosevelt Junior High School are being
discussed at this meeting of the School Authority. The members are left to right:
Ralph Kasman, George E. Ashworth, Fred R. Herman, A. C. Smith, James A.
Gallagher.
