Student Council is a hard working organiza­
tion whose sole purpose is to benefit the stu­
dent body by helping to solve its problems. It
is not a profit-making organization although
it sponsors many activities beneficial to the
school.

Student Council is composed of five officers,
elected in the spring of each year previous to
their term of office, and one representative
from each homeroom. The representatives are
chosen for their qualities of leadership, integ­
rity, and responsibility, thus insuring the best
possible type of student government.

The officers of Student Council who are: president, Evelyn
Sabatini; vice-president, Cassie Kitson; recording secretary,
Elisa Bley; corresponding secretary, Betty Cary; and Ginny
Bruce, treasurer; are at a meeting discussing the student
council program, under the direction of Miss Kwochka.
