The girls golf team finished with a Practicing on the putting green is

his second year of competition,
turned in a 74 and 72 in a metro
playoff vs. Burke to decide what
teams would compete at state.
The Rams went on to lose a
playoff to Omaha Burke, but
qualified Senior Ryan Lorenz and
Junior Derek Ordway for indi­
vidual competition.

Ordway. Ordway was an 8th
place medalists, 5th In Class A,
at State held at Lochland
Country Club in Hastings. The
Rams finished with a 7-2 dual
record.

Hacking one out of the rough is
Senior Randy Christiansen.
Christiansen, a four-year mem­
ber of the golf team and state
qualifier his junior year, said he
credits golf with, “Preparing me
for the tension that goes along
with life.”

Two-year letter winner Kristen
Watkins fires away with a five
iron against Bellevue West in
conference competition. The
Lady Rams won 50% of their
home matches on their new
course at Tiburon.
