"It's the end of the world as
we know it, and we feel fine!"
Actually, the 51 seniors with
Honor Passes would have felt
better if they could have caught
a few winks on the sofa in
Senior Study Hall, but with
graduation right around the
corner, who nad time to sleep?!
Commencement. . . at last! But
as "Pomp and Circumstance"
played for the first Ralston High
graduation of the 1990's, there
was sorrow as well as celebra
tion in the air. The celebration
came as the 258 seniors
clutched their diplomas and al
tered their tassels; the sorrow
when they said goodbye to one
another. But despite the miles
that will lie between them, no
distance can ever erase the
memories they share. Going
their separate ways, each with
his or her own hopes and
dreams for the last decade of
the 20th Century and beyond,
they will always be together as
the graduating class of 1990.
"Wait 'til they get a load of
us!!"
