The varsity baseball players really proved them selves at ' end of
the spring season. The team defeated M illard N orth in th e D istrict
to u rn am en t to go on and play C reighton P rep. The R am s lost to the
Bluejays but got the wild card to go to the S tate T o urn am en t w here
they defeated Papillion/LaV ista, W estside and once again C reighton
P rep to cap tu re the S tate title, the first since 1990. H ere s w hat Juniors
B rian D oerr and Jason B auer had to say about th e ir baseball season:
On the season:
Bauer: “G reat once we won the cham pion ship .”
Doerr; “O verall, it w ent great. I’ve really im proved since last year on
pitching. I’m hoping th at I m ake th e A ll-State te a m .”
