Changes for the Pages
ew news, old news, good news,
N and bad, bad news: the Rampages
staff covered it all.
A news story is constantly arising,
and the staff, made up of four
returning journalists in addition to ten
newcomers, was always there to report
it. Whether it was during or between
classes, or before or after school a
reporter was there to get the story.
Various changes were made on the
Rampages, among them:
a) the use of a double page spread
(two unified facing pages),
b) the use of spot color (one color in
addition to black and white), and
c) an expansion to eight pages
instead of four.
“Being on the staff has been a
different experience for me. Stories are
sometimes hard to find before the
deadline,” said Shelby Mertins, one of
the ten new members.

and senior Ken Callen a lot of time and concentration. Everything
must be just right before it is printed.
