* This was the slogan chosen by the
seniors on the varsity football team to help
set the example for the underclass. The idea
was brought up at the beginning of training
by senior Dan Taylor. “I got together with
some of the other seniors during fall training
and brought up the idea of getting T-shirts
with something on them to motivate us for
the season. I felt we needed something to
unite us as a team and to set the tempo for
the underclassmen. I think our team
performed very good this year as a team
and hope the following teams will perform as
good together as this team did.”
The outcome of the season proved the
slogan. The team made the state playoffs
and finished fourth in the conference.
“Season-long efforts and commitment
brought our football program back into the
light as one of the best in the state,”
concluded coach John Osborne.
