Chalice gets noticed
for Julimar
Chalice Gold Mines Ltd intersected 19m
@ 2.6% nickel, 1% copper, 8.4 g/t palla-
dium and 1.1 g/t platinum from 48m at Juli-
mar, 70km north-east of Perth.
The result was delivered from the first
RC drill hole into Julimar and saw the com-
pany’s share price reach an almost 12-
mont high of 30c/share.
In addition to drilling at Julimar, Chalice
has three rigs going at Pyramid Hill in Ben-
digo, Victoria.
The company has $23 million in cash
and investments.
Azure continues
discovery strike rate
Azure Minerals Ltd has made another
discovery at the Alacrán project in Mexico.
A programme of detailed mapping, sur-
face geochemical sampling and a ground
EM survey carried out over a gossan and
the area of the VTEM anomaly in early
2020 identified faults and shearing and
strong alteration within and around the
gossan, and sampling returned weakly
anomalous copper grades.
The company followed-up with four
angled RC drill holes to test both the EM
anomaly and beneath the gossan.
Both holes intersected wide zones of Azure has made another copper discovery at Alacrán, Mexico
