still those carriers out there that haven’t
taken the jump. I’ve talked to many car-

And when it comes to something
like electronic logging, she doesn’t just
want to be pointing to a regulation
book when trying to convince a driver
or safety director it’s a good idea. She
spent time with the folks installing
them in CalArk’s trucks so she had a
more complete picture of their imple-
mentation.
“I didn’t just learn the hours-of-
service side, I can go by now and prob-
ably install one in a tractor,” she said.
“When I see something, I want to see
every aspect of it. It may not be some-
thing I touch, but when a driver calls
me, I want to understand it.
