The main objectives of National Youth Day is to promote rational thinking among
the youth, the future of the country. The school augmented the teachings of Swami
Vivekananda by organizing a plethora of activities for class IX and XI like essay

writing, debates and poetry writing with enthusiastic fervor. Swami Vivekananda
instilled a new impetus among the youth towards spirituality and even today his

teachings inspire and encourage.

Parliament Webcast of national Youth festival

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi virtually addressed (Jan 12) the valedictory
function of the 2nd National Youth Festival, organized as part of National Youth

Day Festival. The new Youth Anthem was premiered on the occasion to charge up
the youth with bubbling enthusiasm. He stated that the National Youth Day festival
was salient as it was the 157th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. PM Modi

reiterated the great contributions and sacrifices of great Indian leaders. He also
highlighted relations between Good Institutions and brilliant individuals as both are

inter-connected. He touched upon the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, stating that
the NEP would give new opportunities and scope to the youth. He also encouraged
younger generation to contribute to politics to root out dynastic politics which is a

great threat to democracy. PM Modi also announced to post good speeches made
by younger generation in his tweeter handle. His speech was a great inspiration and

motivation to younger generation.
