Chatty year

2017 was all about babysigning for Eden. She was 8 months old at the
start of the year, and through weekly classes and watching her family
use gestures alongside their speech, she began to sign back. ‘Where’
was her first sign, after dropping her spoon under the table. She soon
clicked with the idea, and by the end of 2017 her ‘vocabulary’ was huge -
animals, colours, vehicles, daily routines like getting changed, mealtimes,
bedtime etc.
She loves being able to interact in this special way, reducing her
frustration at not being understood.
Her speech is exploding now, so 2018 looks to be a chatty year!

Closeness

and rhythm

SLING SWING is a gentle dance and movement class for mums

Babies loves the closeness and rhythm of the music and will often nap • Creative play

Sling Swing classes are also suitable for pregnant women as it is for under 5s
important to remain active during pregnancy. With new parents attending
