friends
DISCOVER animals from across the globe at Lotherton Wildlife World.
The penguins and tapirs have been joined by some new friends, the
warty pigs. Explore the newly opened areas of Wildlife World this February
half-term.
Lotherton Wildlife World tells conservation stories from around the world,
while drawing on the travels of previous owners of the Lotherton estate, the
Gascoignes. The penguins and exotic-looking flamingos are native to Chile,
while bashful tapirs originate from Brazil.
Learn about endangered animals, plant species and conservation
initiatives as part of European breeding programmes.
Journey through continents to discover wildlife native to countries the
Gascoigne family visited on their travels.
Meet the animals with special feeding experiences and meet the Keeper
sessions.
Get to know the animals, how they live and what we can do to protect
their future.
