This course offers the deal of the year –
you can play all day for one low green
fee of $30 if you walk (a cart fee applies
to each 18 holes). Take a break between
or after your rounds across the parking
lot at Wind Break Bar and Grill, the
most popular restaurant in the area that
is open for lunch and supper.

East of Kimball, along I-80 in Sidney,
the picturesque Hillside Golf Course
wraps around the scenic canyon area of
Lodgepole Valley. The excitement starts
with the opening hole, a downhill par
4, and continues through number 18, an
uphill curving par 5 with a fairway that
slopes left to right. Eight of the holes
follow valleys set between high rocky
bluffs. Elevation changes will make you Hillside

think hard about club selection making
it a challenging, yet fun round. They offer an all-day rate of $46 for 18 holes. If
you want to play more, however, just pay a cart fee for each additional 18. A large
banquet hall accommodates après-golf parties. Stay overnight at the Country Inn
and Suites and dine close by at the Buffalo Point Steakhouse & Grill. You’ll find
both a little more than a mile from the golf course.
