Located at the northern entrance to the Shenandoah
Valley in Hedgesville, WV, the Woods, part of a 2,000-acre
community, features 36 holes including the Mountain View
Championship Course and the Stony Lick Mid-Length
Course. The Mountain View Course wanders around a
wooded plateau between The Woods pro shop and Third
Hill Mountain, which dominates its view. Carved from a
forest, Mountain View’s fairways are framed by dogwood,
maple, oak, and pine trees. The Stony Lick Mid-Length,
the first 18-hole course of its kind in the area, provides
golfers of all levels terrific fun without taking five hours and
losing a dozen balls. Stony Lick is also home to the eastern
panhandle’s only FootGolf course. GolfStyles Washington
