* From the academic year 2017/18 onwards, students admitted into Year 1 shall complete a total of 12
credits of GE courses consisting of 3 credits in each of the four main areas in order to fulfil graduation
requirements. Students are required to take at least 3 credits from GE courses in Year 1 and Year 2 and
complete the remaining GE requirements by Year 3.
