To use a fishfinder without having to mount the transducer permanently to a boat.
Easy to screw on (or off) the stern of most fishing boats by an oversized butterfly
nut. About 90cm long and adjustable in height. Can also be swiveled out of the
water, when needed.

losing a tip. At the insert it has a
diameter of 3mm and will so also fit
