1. Pola ialah aturan atau bentuk tertentu dalam suatu nombor atau objek.
A pattern is a sequence or certain shapes in a list of numbers or objects.
2. Pola bagi suatu urutan nombor ialah corak yang mempunyai urutan yang tertib.
A pattern of a sequence of numbers is a pattern that follows a certain order.
3. Berikut adalah pola bagi pelbagai set nombor.
The following are the patterns of various sets of numbers.

(a) Nombor genap – boleh dibahagi tepat dengan 2.
Even numbers – can be divided equally with 2.
(i) 8, 16, 24, 32, . . . . (ii) 44, 54, 64, 74, . . . .
(b) Nombor ganjil – tidak boleh dibahagi tepat dengan 2.
Odd numbers – cannot be divided equally with 2.
(i) 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, . . . . (ii) 7, 13, 19, 25, . . . .
(c) Segi Tiga Pascal (d) Nombor Fibonacci

4 , 20 , 100 , 500 , 2 500 , 12 500 –8 –8 –8 –8 –8

×5 ×5 ×5 ×5 ×5 Menolak 8 daripada nombor sebelumnya.
Mendarab 5 kepada nombor sebelumnya. Subtract 8 from the previous number.
Multiply 5 to the previous number.
