Congratulations on becoming an Enterprise State Community College Boll Weevil by participating in the Dual
Enrollment Program!

Dual enrollment for dual credit allows
eligible high school students to earn both
high school and college credit for college
courses taken while they are still in high
school. The courses are part of the
students’ regular school schedule.
Enterprise State has proudly awarded
college certificates and degrees to dual
enrollment students before they have
received their high school diploma.
Enterprise State’s Dual Enrollment
office works closely with your high
school counselor and is available to
assist you in finding success as a Dual Enrollment

What Does It Take to be an ESCC Dual Enrollment Student?

Be in the 10 , 11 , or 12 grade in high school
Have a cumulative unweighted high school grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
Have written approval from the high school (completed Dual Enrollment forms)
Possible college placement test, where minimum placement is required, specifically for college-level
English and math courses.
Be academically, physically, and socially ready

Being an ESCC Dual Enrollment Student Allows You to:

Shorten the time it takes to earn a college degree

school
