AMMI HR Forums and Networking Mee ngs

The main objec ve of the forums is to provide a networking pla orm for human resource
professionals of member companies to discuss and exchange ideas on current human
resource and talent issues. Topics presented during these forums were on Compensa on
and Benefits (by speakers from Korn Ferry Hay Group) and the Impact of TPPA on the
Labour Law (by representa ve from Ministry of Human Resources). Members also
par cipated in sharing sessions on employee mo va on and reten on.

AMMI also introduced the
interac ve “World Café Workshop”
during the AMMI HR Forum held in
Petaling Jaya on 18 October.

Led by Ms Cynthia Ooi (Vice-President of
Human Resources, B.Braun Medical Industries),
Mr Joshua Chong (Senior Human Resource
Manager, Ambu) and Encik Ahmad Nordin
(Assistant General Manager, Texchem Group),
par cipants were divided into three groups and
worked on topics :
(1) Sharing Employee Reten on Strategies
(2) Engaging Your Employees
(3) Employee Mo va on

The workshop encouraged a lot of sharing
among par cipants and was very highly rated.
