Adverb Clause of Time ใชคําสันธาน (Conjunction) คือ when, after, before, until,

till, as soon as

ตัวอยาง

 Before a Japanese couple get married, they send wedding announcements.

 When they get married, they usually wear kimonos.

ลักษณะสําคัญบางประการของ Adverb Clause แสดงเวลา คือ

1. การกระทําในอนาคต Adverb Clause แสดงเวลาจะเปน Present Simple แตละ

ประโยคหลัก (Main Clause) จะเปน Future เชน
When my uncle arrives next week, I will see him at the station.

2. แตถาการกระทําในอดีต Adverb Clause แสดงเวลาจะเสร็จสิ้นในอดีตกอนที่

การกระทําใน Main Clause จะเกิดขึ้น Adverb Clause แสดงเวลานี้จะใช Present Perfect เชน

Living in another country widens your horizon. It makes you appreciate the things

you have and it strengthens the family units.
