4.4 คําบพบทที่ใชในลักษณะอื่น ๆ เชน
1) ใชเพื่อบอกวิธีการเดินทาง

 Pom used to go to school on foot.

 Toom went to work by car yesterday.

 Obb slept all the time in train.

2) แสดงหนวยของภาชนะที่ใชบรรจุ

 Preecha bought three bottles of soft drink yesterday evening.

 Pat drank two cups of coffee this morning

 Pom gave a dozen of eggs to Toom.

3) ใชเพื่อแสดงผูกระทําในประโยค Passive voice โดยมีโครงสรางประโยค

Verb to be + past participle (กริยาชอง 3) + by + Noun (ผูกระทํา) เชน

 The boy was hit by that car.

 He had his suitcase repaired last week by Hans.

4) ใชบุพบท with เพื่อแสดงผูรวมกระทํา เชน

 I go to the department store with Toom this afternoon.

 Pom usually has lunch with Preecha.

 My father went to the hospital with my sister yesterday.

5) ใชบุพบท as เพื่อใชสําหรับเปรียบเทียบความเหมือน เชน

 She is as tall as her sister.
