ยกเวน ลําดับที่ หนึ่งสองและสาม

2. ตัวเลขที่ลงทายดวย y เชน twenty, thirty เมื่อเขียนเปน

ลําดับที่ จะเปลี่ยน y เปน ie กอนแลวจึงเติม th เชน

twentieth , thirtieth
