                              The following statement has been released by the Toolstation


                              NCEL in order to clarify a couple of matters with regards to


                              promotion from the competition for the 2019/20 season.

                              The NCEL have been informed by the FA that clubs seeking promotion



                              from the NCEL Premier Division to Step 4 at the end of the 2018-19
                              season DO NOT need to apply for promotion.

      Any team nishing in a promotion position will nd that promotion is MANDATORY once again this season.

      In addition, there have been several stories in the press recently regarding changing room sizes which have

      caused concern to clubs.

      The NCEL has been assured that nothing in the current regulations has changed.

      Teams being promoted to Step 4 for season 2019/20 will still have until 31st March, 2020, to ensure they


      meet the required standard of ground grading for the higher league.




      The Buildbase FA Vase third round proper draw was made at Wembley Stadium on Monday



      morning. Following the weekend’s second round ties across the country, there will be 64 clubs in
      action at the next stage with 32 ties to be played on Saturday 1 December. Winning clubs in the third



      round will receive £1125 from the competition’s prize fund, while the losing clubs will pick up £375.

      The Management Board of the Toolstation Northern Counties East Football League wishes to announce
      the appointment of three new Management Board members and a change in role for an existing member.

      The rst appointment sees Gary Skifngton appointed as Match Ofcials Observers Ofcer to replace Brian
      Fairclough who has accepted the appointment of Vice President and particularly responsibilities for governance,

      subject to conrmation at the Annual General Meeting.
      At that time, conrmation will also be sought for the two appointed co-opted club representatives Brian Close
      (Garforth Town FC) and Charlie Wyatt (Penistone Church FC).

      The League wishes to welcome the three new members and Brian in his role change which will bring additional
      strengths and skills to assist the competition to continue moving forward.
