There exist differences in school attendance rates in different age groups which can be
observed from the table 11.3. The female attendance rate in the age groups 3-5, 6-10 and 11-
14 years is higher than their male counterpart. On the other hand, male attendance rate in the
age groups 15-19, 20-24 and 25-29 years is higher than female. The highest attendance rate
85.75% is found in the age group 11-14 years and which is for the female.
