As part of 100 days programmes,
45 various projects spending over
Rs. 64 Cr. is being inaugurated
in higher education institutions
spread across the length and
breadth of the State. This includes
19 projects under Dept. of
Collegiate Education, 11 under
Dept. of Technical Education, 3
in Universities, 9 in IHRD and 3
under ASAP. A new College of
Applied Science which runs on
the cost - sharing basis was also
sanctioned to IHRD, at Ayiroor,
Pathanamthitta. Projects which
are being inaugurated under
Dept. of Technical Education
mostly consist of developmental
activities at various Technical
High Schools across the State.
Several other projects are
nearing completion in all these
departments/institutions.

The advent of State’s first Open the higher education arena. as crucial elements of learning
University is like a pearl in the Government considers educational environments in colleges and
crown of various developmental infrastructure; buildings, universities and has made
activities happening so far in classrooms, laboratories etc. meticulous attempts in developing
