Earnest and sincere efforts
have been made in the
departments of Ports, Museum,
Archaeology and Archives
in shaping and executing
development activities by
implementing modern methods
and technologies. Under
the Department of Ports the
dream project - Vizhinjam
International Seaport works
are in full swing. Proximity
to International shipping
route is the main advantage
of this seaport. The works
connected to the breakwater
is in progress. Port operation
Building, an integral part
of the Port project has been
materialized. Azhikkal Sea
Port project in Kannur District
is another major project.
Developmental activities are
in full swing in all non-major
ports too.
