OPENING THE CHURCH
FOR PRIVATE PRAYER AND SUNDAY WORSHIP

(5 July) As the government has eased lockdown measures, places of worship
have now been given permission to reopen, subject to covid regulations.
St Barnabas is now open for
private prayer
Mondays 4.00 - 5.00 pm
Thursdays 1.00 - 2.00 pm
When will St Barnabas and All
Souls/Christchurch be open for
Sunday services?

We’ll keep you informed.
Covid regulations/guidelines include:
● Use of sanitizer (or handwashing) on entry and exit
● Minimal touching of anything within the building
● 2 metre social distancing (inflow and outflow, and seating)
● Restricted access within the building
● Removal of Bibles, hymnbooks and leaflets
● Removal of all children’s resources, toys, books etc
● Disinfecting of all high-risk surfaces and touch points (door handles,
switches, rails, toilet…)
● No singing or playing of wind instruments
● No refreshments unless served at cafe tables
● Record of visitors (to assist Test and Trace)
● No collection plate should be passed round
● Anyone with covid symptoms should not enter the building
● Clinically vulnerable/shielding are advised not to attend
Will Sunday services still be recorded and put on the website?
We plan to continue so. There are many who will be unable or hesitant
to attend a ‘live’ service, and who have greatly appreciated the opportu-
nity to join in our worship ‘remotely’. We want to make sure that we cater
for as many in our congregation as possible. Not forgetting outsiders!
But, hey, won’t it be good to see each other again!
