COVID-19 has disrupted our lives in ways that nobody could have ever
expected. Unfortunately, those same disruptions have taken a considerable toll

on our local nonprofit organizations. The Idaho Press has created this special
insert to assist our local nonprofit groups in telling their story and to make it easy
for you to support them. They need us now more than ever!

I have volunteered and served on several nonprofit boards over my career
and have seen firsthand how these groups impact the communities they serve.
Without some of them, frankly, communities would likely just crumble into chaos.

The nonprofit organizations who serve the Treasure Valley bring meals to local
Matt Davison seniors, they provide shelter for those without, they care for children when we

President and Publisher are working, they step up when needed and now we can do the same for them.

As you read through this special publication think about the direct impact our
local nonprofit groups have on our community. While their efforts might not hit
you directly, you will quickly realize how important these nonprofit organizations
are to the general health and well-being of society. I am confident that some

stories here will inspire you to act by either volunteering or offering your
financial support.
