person conducting sales. Therefore, it is not necessary to have a table to store data about
Jesse. If there were more than one salesperson, this would be necessary. In general, how-
ever, we need to create a table for each entity in the REA diagram to store data important
to the company.
Each column of a table represents an attribute (or characteristic) ofits entity. For exam-
ple, the attributes for the Customer Table may include Customer ID, Customer Name,
