Miscellaneous Information
The NAIIA Member Company will follow these bill paying procedures:
A. Interim Bills: Interim billing invoices are an accepted procedure and should be honored
by the client when presented .
B. Service Invoice Payments: Properly documented service bills should be forwarded to
the client in a timely manner. Billing invoices should be placed on the front of the
report for ease of review.
C. Client Service Instructions: Service instructions and guidelines are often provided by
a client. Those guidelines are encouraged and will take precedent over standard NAIIA
member firm procedures.
CLAIM PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY
INSURANCE COMPANY
Founded by NAIIA member firms, Claim Professional Liability Insurance Company,
RRG (CPLIC) offers Errors and Omissions and General Liability insurance coverage
to all independent insurance adjusters across the nation. This risk retention group,
incorporated in Vermont, reinsured by an A+ rated company and managed by
NAIIA volunteers gives all NAIIA members the opportunity to participate in a value
concept and service never before made available to the independent adjuster.
As a member of NAIIA your firm is likely to meet all of the underwriting standards in
place and to have a substantial advantage in votes and dividends. Our mission was
to aid in the creation of the company by participation on the underwriting, claims
and risk management committees and to continue to influence the company’s
direction by service on the Board of Directors. Additionally, NAIIA members
provide voluntary service by serving on key committees who recommend policy in
a variety of areas including audit and dividends.
New members to the NAIIA receive a substantial discount on the share price if
they participate within the first 90 days of membership. Standing members may
