Our mission is to now build on their foundation, laid with

dedication and שפנ תריסמ . In Parshas Mikaitz, the הרות

tells us עבשה ינש עבש הנלכתו , and the seven years of plenty

ended. The next Pasuk says בערה ינש עבש הנלחתו , and the

seven years of hunger began. The difference between

הנלכתו - ending, and הנלחתו - beginning, are the letters כ
MESSAGES
and ח , which spells חכ , strength. Building from the end of

one era to the beginning of the new era requires great חכ !

The energy and enthusiasm we expend will guarantee that

we have not come to an end, but a renewed beginning,

carrying on and moving forward in our holy mission of
