'Road To Thousand Lights'

MG Road Rangoli Art Centre ,

Live Art Lab 2013

Performed as part Project of Live art lab ,Bangalore
which was based on concept of RE COLLECTION and
RE P(L)AY of changes in city and especially in MG
Boulevard ,Bangalore which is transformed into
new Space as Rangoli art center a place for cultural

exchanges. In my work I wanted to reconnect and
reestablish relationship with the new hi-tech city
Bangalore to old traditional Bangalore , Relooking
the roads which has new look and has past history.
This time I used element of light in my work. I was
wearing a traditional hair plaits with flowers
(Maggie na jade) replaced by Led light which we
could connect with Jazzy night of Bangalore which
we connect with new status of city the silicon city ,

IT Capital of India I also wanted my audience to see
light beyond light the more Deeper meaning and
metaphors of Light in life.
