Shruti Haasan on nepotism
The conversation on nepotism in Indian cinema continues, and actress Shruti
Haasan, elder daughter of Kamal Haasan and Sarika, says while the initial
opportunity to enter the film industry was comparatively easier for her, it has been
tougher to survive in the business of cinema that is cut-throat by nature.
“I have to admit that the doors opened for me because of the kind of people I have
grown up with, because of my parents. I got that because of my surname, I cannot
deny that. But I am a slow learner, in general, in life. I did not know the right way
of communication, and how to hustle to reach out to the right people. In fact, I still
am socially awkward. So, it was not been easy for me to navigate. I do not take
shruti away the fact that I am privileged, though overall I have a hard journey. I would
hAAsAn say, it was easy to get in but hard to stay in,” Shruti told.

Alia Bhatt, and Ranveer Singh to
reunite for this project?
A latest report suggests that the duo is reuniting for yet
another project, which is none another than Sanjay Leela
Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. The Padmaavat actor
will have a special cameo, which will play a crucial part
in the narrative. As per the reports, a source close to
the film said, “It’s a very powerful cameo. And Ranveer
can’t say no to Sanjay Leela Bhansali…Ever! On top of
that, the film has Alia Bhatt in the lead. Alia and Ranveer
have shared a special rapport from the time they worked
together in Gully Boy. So Ranveer has absolutely no
reason to decline the offer.”

Ayushmann Khurrana joins
Abhishek Kapoor for a romantic
drama
Ayushmann Khurrana who has delivered some
memorable films of late is joining hands with Abhishek
Kapoor for an untitled romantic drama. Ayushmann
will be playing the role of a cross-functional athlete in
the film. He will be undergoing a complete physical
transformation for the movie. Abhishek Kapoor has made
memorable movies like Kai Po Che!, Kedarnath, and
Rock On in the past. He said that fans will get to see a
whole new side of Ayushmann Khurrana.
In a statement, Kapoor said, “Ayushmann and I are
both known for a certain kind of cinema and this film is
AyushmAnn definitely a special one for both of us.” The Dream Girl
khurrAnA actor is very excited to collaborate with Abhishek Kapoor.
He said, “Abhishek has a very distinct voice in cinema
today.” He said the film had all the trappings to take
the audience through a ride of emotions. Ayushmann
BOLLYWOOD Khurrana said, “It is a total family entertainer. It is a

beautiful, progressive love story that will also touch
your hearts.” He is very excited about the physical
transformation. He said, “I’m supremely excited about
BONANAZA the physical transformation that I will have to undergo. It

will present me in an all-new avatar. I have never looked
like this on-screen. The process is going to be intense and
excruciating for me but I feel all the pain will be worth it.”
