                                  Kajori Dasgupta author of the book ‘Ambient Silence’, is about her
                                  personal tormented experiences in life that compelled her to become a
                                  writer. A book that will move you and surprise you that such a life exists,
                                  and someone can come out of it positively. The book generates empathy
                                  and enhances knowledge.

                                  Young entrepreneurs and owners of 4 different businesses which employ
                                  100+ people, that has helped several fellow friends join them in their
                                  journey through partnerships and investments.






                                  JULY – DR. ARUNA JHA


                                  Dr. Jha Founding member of the Asian American Suicide Prevention
                                  Initiative (AASPI) professionally trains people in QPR (Question, Persuade
                                  and Refer), a gatekeeper training to help people recognize the signs that
                                  someone may be suicidal, ask the right Questions to probe deeper and
                                  Persuade the individual to seek help, and then Refer the person to the
                                  appropriate professional help. She has focused on suicide prevention for
                                  the last 25 years both in the US and in India.



                                  AUGUST – JOSH MYSORE


                                  Josh Mysore, a rising senior at the St. Mark’s School of Texas, has been
                                  awarded a National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) Virtual
                                  Summer Intensive full scholarship to study the Hindi language for five
                                  weeks. A Plano, Texas, resident, Mysore initially applied to the NSLI-Y
                                  program—a U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and
                                  Cultural Affairs (ECA) program that promotes critical language learning
                                  among American youth in Zaragoza, Spain. Mysore would go on to pass
                                  the semifinalist stage and would ultimately be chosen as a finalist to study
                                  Hindi with NSLI-Y, a multi-agency U.S. Government initiative launched
                                  in 2006 to improve Americans’ ability to communicate in select critical
                                  languages, advance international dialogue and provide Americans with
                                  jobs skills for the global economy.
