4.5 How We Revise the Items
To revise these items, in item number 18, we decide that the item options should be
changed to be harder than previous options, avoid the errors that could be made, and write
in a similar style and manner in order the same pattern. Also, the item options are reasonable
and relate the answer to the question (audio) that attract test takers who have some
knowledge.

a. Do you want to go with me?
b. Do you want to eat it?
c. Do you want to watch the movie?
d. Do you want to party?
And for item number 28, as same as item number 18, we decide that all the item
options should be changed to avoid the inferiors test takers to guess the correct answer, relate
the answer to the question (audio), and write in the similar pattern.

a. Yes. How can I help you?
b. No. How can I help you?
c. It is so colorful. Can I try it on?
d. It is so pretty. Can I try it on?

Therefore, the revision of these items, we can conclude that all of our previous item
options are the options that reasonably good but subject to improvement, and we have
improved it into the new options that are reasonable, similar in pattern, approximately equal
in length, and attract the test takers who have critical thinking skill to answered it correctly.
