To replace flint, follov these steps:
1. Remove the outer burner shield by means of loosening the screws A (Fig. 75).

Be sure not to lose the small helical spring vhich presses the flint against
the serrated wheel.

Replacement of the serrated vheel RM24

If after several years of use the lighter does not function properly even a
new flint, the serrated vheel might be worn out and needs to be replaced.
1. Release the lighter as described above.

2. Unscrew the rod from the serrated wheel and fit a new wheel.

CAUTION The rod has to be unscrewed anti-clockwise.

The RM46, RM47, RM67, and RM77 models are equipped with a Piero
crystal lighting device vhich creates a spark over the burner when the button E is
pushed in fully (see fig. 72).
