Committee REPORTS

Department of Lifelong Learning

& Extension

The DLLE department was established on October 12, 1978 and has been
recognized as a statutory department of the University of Mumbai since
1994 to promote a meaningful and sustained rapport between the university
and the community. Now the department is functioning as one of the
teaching department of the university.

The Committee adopted four projects for the academic year 2017-18:

1. CAREER PROJECTS (CP)

2. ANNA POORNA YOJANA PROJECT (APY)

3. INDUSTRY ORIENTATION PROJECT (IOP)

4. SURVEY OF WOMEN’S STATUS (SWS)

• The Committee also received the “The Best Committee Award” for 2015-16
during the Annual Prize Distribution Function.

• This year our college hosted the Annual Festival of DLLE for fourth time in
a row and the college also bagged First Prize in Street Play Competition.

• The DLLE students also arranged food stalls of various states of India
during the Time Travel event.

• Organised International Youth Fellowship 2017 in collaboration with NSS
Unit of the college.
