It has been a difficult year to get sport up and running.
Just as we established a real flow of practices and even

some matches - it was taken away from us in a flash,
with the announcement of a harder lock down at the

end of term 2. This left us wondering whether sport
would resume during the 3rd term.

Much to our surprise, we were allowed to start practices
and matches. Of course, the excitement is tempered by

reservations about rising Covid cases in the Western
Cape.

While the effect of Covid on sport has been really

heartbreaking, we continue to do what we are able to do
and we continue to strive for excellence within the

parameters.

Herzlia would like to congratulate all those

sportsmen/women who were able to continue training
and who have excelled in their chosen sports. This takes

true commitment and dedication and we look forward
to following their successes.

Hats off to all the Sports Heads, teachers in charge of

sports and the pupils for persevering through these
trying times. Your efforts are much appreciated.
