EXPLANATION:

1. The poles facing each other of the magnets X and Y, both are south

poles. Two similar poles of the magnet repel each other and two
opposite poles of the magnet attract each other.
2. A lever is a rigid rod arranged in such a manner that it can move freely

around a fixed point. This fixed point is called fulcrum. The object on

which work is to be performed is called load and the force that needs
to be applied on the rod in order to perform a task is called effort.
3. Energy that can be renewed or replenished over a period of time is

called renewable energy. E.g. wind energy, solar energy etc.
