models require keyswitch or start button. See application chart. This kit converts an ERC (electric remote control) model to a tiller handle operation.
Fits various Mercury/Mariner 20/25 hp. 2 cycle outboards 1994 1/2 and newer. See Models with power trim will have trim switch on the side of the cowl. To replace that
application chart for specific engine models. This handle does NOT fit JET switch with one on the handle, order an 87‑898101A01 trim switch kit if desired.

Fits Mercury 25 hp. 4‑Stroke outboards (USA 0G590000‑0G760299). When installing a tiller handle conversion kit to a remote model that has power trim,
it may be desired to replace the cowl mounted trim switch with one mounted on the
TILLER HANDLE KIT handle. This kit will make that trim switch conversion from the cowl to the tiller
handle.
