QUICKSILVER CRATE ENGINES

QUICKSILVER has been building the 350 Crate Engines as parts for repairing boat engines since 2008. These never were converted automotive units
or remanufactured, but rather built by QUICKSILVER from scratch for marine duty. CRATE ENGINES are major assemblies that include a new
longblock as well as the fuel delivery and ignition components required for a high quality major repair. But, they require many more parts to be
transferred from the engine being repaired or bought new before a boat can be made to go. CRATE ENGINE major assemblies lack: a cooling system,
engine mounts, fuel handling system, exhaust system, couplers, control mounting points, a starter, accessory drive, alternator, seawater pump, power
steering, and usually a flywheel. The offerings are now expanding beyond the familiar 350 carbureted and MPI models.

inch partially dressed marine engine assembly. Features include: New 750 cfm
4bbl carburetor, aluminum intake manifold with bronze water crossover and pads,
mechanical fuel pump, nodular iron crankshaft, 4‑bolt main iron block, roller
camshaft, iron cylinder heads, screw‑in rocker studs, stainless steel valves, 9.4:1
hypereutectic pistons, Thunderbolt V ignition with knock control, and 10‑pin
harness.
Includes: flame arrestor, harmonic balancer, oil pan, wire harness, circulating
water pump, spark plugs and wires. Runs on 87 Octane Fuel.
NOTE: This engine cannot be used with an Alpha One (Gen I) drive since the
v‑belt seawater pump kit is N.L.A. and is required for proper cooling.
300 HP New Crate Engine
This all new construction crate engine is a universal power upgrade for V8
MerCruiser Alpha sterndrive and inboard applications, and adaptable to other
brands of sterndrives and inboards regardless of make.
