Automatically protects the drive unit from galvanic corrosion. The
increased output provides greater protection for underwater aluminum
parts. Its reliable, efficient operation requires an insignificant amount of

Connects to the crankcase oil pump for use on the Zeus drive and various Mercury/
Mariner FourStroke outboards.
ADAPTER

Transom mounted system is mounted with the anode and reference electrode on
(and through) the transom of the boat on opposite sides of the drive. The new Gen
III MerCathode controller with the blue decal is mounted inside the boat.
Fits all boat applications with a 12 volt operating system.

Adapts the standard threaded style MerCruiser crankcase pump for use on the
Mercury/Mariner 8/9.9 hp. FourStroke outboards (MY2004 & prior) and the 15hp.
